I'm a fourth-year undergraduate student at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University, pursuing a major in Materials Science and Engineering and a minor in Critical Theory.
Currently, I'm working on my senior honors project in Materials Science and Engineering by assisting in the development of an implantable, battery-free optoelectronic vitals monitor.
Previously, I worked as a design and manufacturing engineer for Wearifi Inc., a wearables company founded out of the Rogers group at Northwestern, where prior to this position, held a position as a temp in affiliation with the Querrey Simpson Institute for Bioelectronics.
Before starting at Wearifi, I worked part-time in research and development at Exicure Inc, where I used chemistry and modeling to optimize the structure of spherical nucleic acid (SNA) nanoparticles for effective gene therapy delivery.
I also spent a summer working alongside Dr. Chris Forman in the Gianneschi group at Northwestern, where I worked on implementing a universal Turing machine on a 3D printer, to achieve in materio computation by storing data in the geometry of printed objects.
